AMERICAN SAFETY

AMERICAN SAFETY

Thank you to everyone who visited our “AMERICAN SAFETY” POP-UP in Fussa.

This time, instead of bringing a car into the gallery, we brought in the road itself.

A “20” speed-limit marking runs across the wall.
An American STOP sign hangs above the space.
And our original white tape—designed to resemble the barricade tape used to keep people away from an accident scene—traces the outline of a single car.

American & Japanese Cars

Hosted at a café and gallery near Yokota Air Base in Fussa—a place where the boundaries between Japan and America naturally blur—this exhibition features traffic safety charms inspired by both American and Japanese cars.
